I'm usually not a big fan of taking flower-macro-photos as they never seem to work out for me, but I think because this one had a lot going on it was a bit easier to capture.

Even though it is clichéd these days to do the whole close-up flower business, I still really love it. It looks like a whole new world when you get really up close, and I love the detail and colour here. The end looks like little mushrooms
